I have to say that I am VERY impressed with Animal Collective’s new album, Centipede HZ. I have been a long time fan of their’s, so it is always nice to get new stuff from them. This album is along the lines of stuff they have done before, but you can definitely tell that it is well- orchestrated. Out of all of their albums, this one makes a lot of sense to me. If you have listened to them before, you know what I am saying when I say some of their music is WAY out there. If you are a fan of that, do no worry, Centipede HZ still has it’s strung out trippy moments. But it is very easy to listen to along the lines of Animal Collective’s brand of music. I am really digging all the tracks, but my BY-FAR favorite one that I CANNOT get over is Rosie Oh. Moonjock, Today’s Supernatural, Mercury Man and Amanita are all awesome as well… but check them all out and give em a listen!!

The album will be released to the public sometime later this month, so keep your eyes open!
