Sunburn EP – Baio

This new EP from Vampire Weekend’s bassist Chris Baio is very appropriately titled. I say so because this album would be perfect for a lazy day at the beach just baking in the sun all day. Has an island, upbeat sound about it. Kind of trancy/ house / electronic but not annoying & very catchy, which is what I look for in this type of music. All three of the songs are pretty great, but I would have to say that my favorite is “Sunburn Modern”… so NEXT TIME you are planning a day at the beach… or dreaming of one, just put this on and you should be set!
