If you are ready for summertime, ready to roll down the windows and blast some awesome alt. country/rock and roll then you are GONNA LOVE Diamond Rugs!!

Diamond Rugs is a the brain child of  John McCauley, Deer Tick, who started Diamond Rugs out of his new homestead in Nashville, TN. Joining McCauley is Robbie Crowell, also of Deer Tick, Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and Ian St. Pe of The Black Lips. What started off as a side project has turned into much more, generating into an awesome band instead of a bunch of musicians playing on one artists album. I would recommend this album if you like Deer Tick, The Black Lips, Dr. Dog and Middle Brother.  The full album will be released Tuesday, April 24th.
