Hunger for Justice week is an annual weeklong event sponsored by the Shival Center. It features daily events to encourage students to become more educated about the horrors of starvation and homelessness, locally and abroad.

King’s Psychology Department discussed alleged adolescent murder case

The speculations surrounding the alleged 10-year old murderer in Wayne County has sparked wide media attention across the county.

According to suspicions, the boy intentionally killed a 90 year old woman and is now being held and tried as an adult criminal. Childhood behavior has caused for interesting studies across the history of mankind because it gives individuals a chance to know why kids do what they do and how they think.

The sort of study is crucial in understanding 10-year old Tristen Kurilla’s purposeful murder of a 90-year old woman after an argument. WRKC’s Amber Mitchell had a discussion with a professor in King’s College’s psychology department to understand Kurilla’s methodology.
