King’s Cross Country Teams Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

The King’s College Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams have been honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for academic excellence.

The USTFCCCA announced its 2014 Division III All-Academic teams on Wednesday and both King’s men’s and women’s clubs were two of the 363 total programs selected of the 211 women’s and 152 men’s programs.

Nine Middle Atlantic Conference programs were recognized, King’s women’s team was tied for the highest conference grade point average with a combined 3.66 GPA.

Four MAC men’s teams were recognized and King’s men’s squad had the highest GPA in the conference with a combined 3.24 GPA. No men or women on King’s teams were named individual academic All-Americans.
