King’s football hasn’t beaten Albright in the last seven attempts, specifically not since 2006. But on their current three-game win streak and with Albright on it’s worst skid in years, the game will be more combustible than ever.

The Monarchs enter Saturday’s 1:00 p.m game standing fifth in the Middle Atlantic Conference and 3-2 overall. Albright is a lowly 1-4, and seventh in the conference.

This is the 20th all-time meeting between the Lions and the Monarchs, Albright holding a 13-5-1 advantage. Albright won last season 48-29 at McCarthy Stadium.

The King’s defense, which ranks third  in the conference in total defense, giving up 317.5 yards per game, will need to be the difference maker for the Monarchs to win this weekend. Albright has sacked the quarterback 16 times to this point this season.
